Bulk Earthworks
MC Earthmoving was contracted for the Bulk Earthworks component of the Kingston Links Golf Course residential redevelopment. Completing Stage 1 of the bulk earthworks in just over one year, MC Earthmoving excavated all previously placed material back to the existing natural ground, then conditioned, replaced and compacted to level 1 requirements.

Project Details
In excess of 400,000 m3 of material was removed, conditioned and re-compacted to form the base earthworks for which the civil component will be constructed upon. Imported materials were concurrently placed to elevate the site to its designed level to meet the Melbourne water flood requirements.

Melbourne Water Wetlands
Corhanwarrbul Creek, a Melbourne water asset adjacent to the site works, provided significant environmental impacts.Water runoff and dust control was continually monitored during the project with all stakeholders unaffected for the duration.
